Wednesday

Well I am not sure if there is something in the air or what exactly is going on but Noah has not been having good days.

He has been super defiant, talking back, and just plain OUT OF CONTROL!!

I am hoping that this is all due to school about to start and the still new excitement of having a friend he can play with daily.

I have been working on my room still making sure to find homes for everything. I cleaned out all my Premier stuff so I can organize my Scentsy stuff and I still have a bit of a mess from that while finding everythings new home spot. I did manage to get mine and Jeremys dressers cleaned off, all the dirty clothes in the basket and off the floor, and the walkway in front of the dressers basically done.

Today I am going over to the neighbors for a bit while she interviews for a part time job.

The rest of the day I have to run to WalMart to get Noahs desk, finish my room, and hopefully get my printer to work so i don't have to buy a new one so I can work on Noahs school stuff.

I pray today is a much better day for Noah!

Rough couple days.....

The last couple days have been a bit of a struggle for me. I have been really tired and had a bad headache. Yesterday we were able to make some goals and do a few little needless things.

One of those goals is to do a 5k as a family coming up in October. We have decided we need to start exercising at least every other day for the next couple weeks and then pick it up after that. I walked a mile this morning and Jeremy did 3!! I wanted to do more but I move at a slower pace than him normally and I was trying to keep up and my back ended up hurting after only half a mile. I had to stop at one at that point.

I did not want to hold him back from his abilities so I told him to go on. He did 3 miles in 70 minutes which i think is pretty good being the first time he has every done 3. I was so proud of him!

I have a list of things I need to do and get done in the next couple days and I am not getting far with it. I had every intention of busting some stuff out today and and then i got a terrible headache. I ended up taking a 3 hour nap in order to get rid of it. I felt good after I woke up but still kinda energy less.

I finally resolved around dinner time that today was a lost cause and I would have to start over tomorrow.

So now I am watching a little TV and going to bed so I can hopefully have a MUCH better and PRODUCTIVE day TOMORROW!!

Sunday FUNday!!

Today Noah and I got to spend some time with our new neighbors. We all piled in our van and headed to McDonalds for a little lunch fun. The kids of course wanted to play more on the playset there than eat. I finally got Noah to eat his chicken, a few apples, and a few fries.

After lunch we headed to the park. Our friends Adrienne, Isabelle, and Calleigh had not been to the park yet cause they have only lived here less than a month. The girls were ecstatic to see the HUGE playground!!

Here is Calleigh pushing the bigger kids!! LOL!

   My silly boy!

Sweet Calleigh swinging! :)

Sensitive Isabelle!

Noah and Calleigh decided they were going to "plant trees" from broken sticks and tree branches and then proceeded to water them after they were planted. It was the cutest thing that they were thinking of something like that that they could do. They did say after words to each other " how is the plant gonna get water under here though?" because they were under the playset! After they realized it wouldn't work to plant trees with what they had they decided to build a castle. It was nice hearing them use their imaginations today.

After some fun in the sun and getting a little warm, we decided to cool of with some UDF FREE ice cream because I had coupons. Here is Noah with his cotton candy ice cream and Calleigh with her rainbow sherbet i think.

This is Isabelle and her sweet momma Adrienne!

We had such a great time today with them. It is great having neighbors you can relate to and have to support each other as well as have friends for your kids.

This week will now be preparing for school start. Josh and Brooke start on Wednesday and Noah and I will start his homeschooling with the neighbors online next Monday. We are looking forward to some accountability and fun on this adventure together!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!! :)

A kinda lazy Saturday.....

Well I decided I better update before I go to bed so I do not forget, this is going to be nightly thing so I can get into a routine.

Today was a pretty laid back day. Jeremy and Josh were at a real estate training class all day about flipping houses to make mucho denero and Brooke has been at a friends house enjoying the last couple nights before school starts on Wednesday.

Noah and I laid in bed literally all morning which is just fine for me cause I love having time with my little man. We got ourselves together around lunch time and headed out to a Nikki and Chris's house. Nikki wanted to see what jewelry I had because she is heading out to the Tupperware Rally tomorrow which was nice cause we had not seen them in a while. Noah had fun playing with Caitlyn and little Bailey, except for when he fell off the scooter and skinned his elbows and knees. We fixed him up with some peroxide, neosporin, and bandaids.

Later on we were invited to the park where a friends orthodontist had a party going on with food, drinks, face painting, balloons, and a movie at dark.

Noah wanted to play in the sand more than anything but mom wanted to go check out what animals the zoo had brought and found this owl!

I tryed to get Noah to get something painted on him but he said no, so Josh got something instead...

All in all it was a great day! I am so thankful to have these moments to help me remember when times seem so far away!

Trying to get back into things!

Well it has been a long time since I posted on here so that means a lot has gone on.

Noah went from homeschooling online to traditional public school, I went back to the working world, my father-in-law passed away from cancer, I left my job, and Noah is going back to homeschooling.

Noahs school like most does not currently have the funding necessary to run all the programs normally offered. So this year his school has cut all music, art, and gym for all elementary students. We tryed to get a transfer to another school district but that did not go through as they were at capacity. During the waiting process we have a new family move in on our street and they also did not like the idea of not having these programs, so we have decided to homeschool online together. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am nervous because the last time did not go so well for us but excited because I will have someone to help me and support me. Also, we will be using a different school and with this school we will have local access to a teacher not just verbally by phone.

Brooke has decided to try colorguard and join her brother in band and from what I have heard and seen she really likes it! It is great cause she needs something to help keep her busy. She is going into 8th grade which is her last year at the junior high. I can not believe how fast time is going by.

Josh is in 10th grade this year and will be 16 in December. He is begging for his temps but he had a rough end to the school year and a bad start to summer, so his plans have had to be put on hold. I am having a terrible time facing the fact that he is almost an adult. I really dont like this. It is so hard to let them grow up. I hope we have taught him well enough but I still see his mistakes daily and it scares me to think of him on his own. I hope in the next 3 years it will come together a little better.

I have a few things in the plans that I am working on to make life hopefully a little easier and organized and hopefully I will start remembering to update this a little more. My baby is 7 and I am realizing there are many things I forget and if I would keep up with this then I will always have the memories somewhere.

Until next time.....
