Well I am not sure if there is something in the air or what exactly is going on but Noah has not been having good days.
He has been super defiant, talking back, and just plain OUT OF CONTROL!!
I am hoping that this is all due to school about to start and the still new excitement of having a friend he can play with daily.
I have been working on my room still making sure to find homes for everything. I cleaned out all my Premier stuff so I can organize my Scentsy stuff and I still have a bit of a mess from that while finding everythings new home spot. I did manage to get mine and Jeremys dressers cleaned off, all the dirty clothes in the basket and off the floor, and the walkway in front of the dressers basically done.
Today I am going over to the neighbors for a bit while she interviews for a part time job.
The rest of the day I have to run to WalMart to get Noahs desk, finish my room, and hopefully get my printer to work so i don't have to buy a new one so I can work on Noahs school stuff.
I pray today is a much better day for Noah!

Rough couple days.....
The last couple days have been a bit of a struggle for me. I have been really tired and had a bad headache. Yesterday we were able to make some goals and do a few little needless things.
One of those goals is to do a 5k as a family coming up in October. We have decided we need to start exercising at least every other day for the next couple weeks and then pick it up after that. I walked a mile this morning and Jeremy did 3!! I wanted to do more but I move at a slower pace than him normally and I was trying to keep up and my back ended up hurting after only half a mile. I had to stop at one at that point.
I did not want to hold him back from his abilities so I told him to go on. He did 3 miles in 70 minutes which i think is pretty good being the first time he has every done 3. I was so proud of him!
I have a list of things I need to do and get done in the next couple days and I am not getting far with it. I had every intention of busting some stuff out today and and then i got a terrible headache. I ended up taking a 3 hour nap in order to get rid of it. I felt good after I woke up but still kinda energy less.
I finally resolved around dinner time that today was a lost cause and I would have to start over tomorrow.
So now I am watching a little TV and going to bed so I can hopefully have a MUCH better and PRODUCTIVE day TOMORROW!!

Sunday FUNday!!
Today Noah and I got to spend some time with our new neighbors. We all piled in our van and headed to McDonalds for a little lunch fun. The kids of course wanted to play more on the playset there than eat. I finally got Noah to eat his chicken, a few apples, and a few fries.
After lunch we headed to the park. Our friends Adrienne, Isabelle, and Calleigh had not been to the park yet cause they have only lived here less than a month. The girls were ecstatic to see the HUGE playground!!

Here is Calleigh pushing the bigger kids!! LOL!
My silly boy!
Sweet Calleigh swinging! :)
Sensitive Isabelle!
Noah and Calleigh decided they were going to "plant trees" from broken sticks and tree branches and then proceeded to water them after they were planted. It was the cutest thing that they were thinking of something like that that they could do. They did say after words to each other " how is the plant gonna get water under here though?" because they were under the playset! After they realized it wouldn't work to plant trees with what they had they decided to build a castle. It was nice hearing them use their imaginations today.
After some fun in the sun and getting a little warm, we decided to cool of with some UDF FREE ice cream because I had coupons. Here is Noah with his cotton candy ice cream and Calleigh with her rainbow sherbet i think.
This is Isabelle and her sweet momma Adrienne!
We had such a great time today with them. It is great having neighbors you can relate to and have to support each other as well as have friends for your kids.
This week will now be preparing for school start. Josh and Brooke start on Wednesday and Noah and I will start his homeschooling with the neighbors online next Monday. We are looking forward to some accountability and fun on this adventure together!!
I hope you all had a great weekend!! :)

A kinda lazy Saturday.....
Well I decided I better update before I go to bed so I do not forget, this is going to be nightly thing so I can get into a routine.
Today was a pretty laid back day. Jeremy and Josh were at a real estate training class all day about flipping houses to make mucho denero and Brooke has been at a friends house enjoying the last couple nights before school starts on Wednesday.
Noah and I laid in bed literally all morning which is just fine for me cause I love having time with my little man. We got ourselves together around lunch time and headed out to a Nikki and Chris's house. Nikki wanted to see what jewelry I had because she is heading out to the Tupperware Rally tomorrow which was nice cause we had not seen them in a while. Noah had fun playing with Caitlyn and little Bailey, except for when he fell off the scooter and skinned his elbows and knees. We fixed him up with some peroxide, neosporin, and bandaids.
Later on we were invited to the park where a friends orthodontist had a party going on with food, drinks, face painting, balloons, and a movie at dark.
Noah wanted to play in the sand more than anything but mom wanted to go check out what animals the zoo had brought and found this owl!
I tryed to get Noah to get something painted on him but he said no, so Josh got something instead...
All in all it was a great day! I am so thankful to have these moments to help me remember when times seem so far away!

Trying to get back into things!
Well it has been a long time since I posted on here so that means a lot has gone on.
Noah went from homeschooling online to traditional public school, I went back to the working world, my father-in-law passed away from cancer, I left my job, and Noah is going back to homeschooling.
Noahs school like most does not currently have the funding necessary to run all the programs normally offered. So this year his school has cut all music, art, and gym for all elementary students. We tryed to get a transfer to another school district but that did not go through as they were at capacity. During the waiting process we have a new family move in on our street and they also did not like the idea of not having these programs, so we have decided to homeschool online together. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I am nervous because the last time did not go so well for us but excited because I will have someone to help me and support me. Also, we will be using a different school and with this school we will have local access to a teacher not just verbally by phone.
Brooke has decided to try colorguard and join her brother in band and from what I have heard and seen she really likes it! It is great cause she needs something to help keep her busy. She is going into 8th grade which is her last year at the junior high. I can not believe how fast time is going by.
Josh is in 10th grade this year and will be 16 in December. He is begging for his temps but he had a rough end to the school year and a bad start to summer, so his plans have had to be put on hold. I am having a terrible time facing the fact that he is almost an adult. I really dont like this. It is so hard to let them grow up. I hope we have taught him well enough but I still see his mistakes daily and it scares me to think of him on his own. I hope in the next 3 years it will come together a little better.
I have a few things in the plans that I am working on to make life hopefully a little easier and organized and hopefully I will start remembering to update this a little more. My baby is 7 and I am realizing there are many things I forget and if I would keep up with this then I will always have the memories somewhere.
Until next time.....

My weekend.
Well I hadn't posted in a few days so I thought I better.
Things were kind of crazy around here. Jeremy has had a lot of work which I am so thankful for but it has also meant that I have more to get done around the house. I dont know why I struggle so badly with keeping up this house but I do. Sometimes I wonder if it goes back to growing up and having to help run the house when i was a teenager. I mean I understand kids need to help but I felt like I did everything including taking care of my little brother. I try really hard not to make my kids "run" the house. I will ask them to do things here and there but not ALL the time. They do have to put their clothes away and make their bed regularly but that is pretty much it. So I am trying to get myself back together and focused on my tasks at hand.
This weekend we had the older kids. We were supposed to go to Family Game Night at church but had some problems with a car Jeremy was working on and didn't end up going. Saturday, Jeremy was gone until around 3 looking at cars. So the kids helped me get some more of their Lego sets back together so the pieces weren't all randomly thrown in one BIG bucket. That night I had thought we were going to hang out as a family and play games and what not since we had not done that in a while. Well Jeremy had mentioned Go Karting. I like it but really wasn't feeling it that night. Brooke had been asking to go see the Justin Bieber movie "Never Say Never" and her mom had said we were all gonna go but it hadn't happened yet. So I finally decided that that night would be a good night to go. So I talked to Jeremy and we decided that we were going to have a girls night. So Brooke and I went to dinner and a movie just the two of us. I love being able to go out with her and do things together. I know she loves it and craves it! She gets very upset when she is not getting attention so it was good for her and me to have a night to ourselves.
Sunday of course was church. I kinda woke up not really in the mood to go. I mean I had been dealing with mother nature and we have so many things that need done I just wanted to stay home. Well it just so happened that this was my week to teach UpStreet and I had no way of getting ahold of any one to cover for me so guess what God said...... I was going to church!! LOL! I love it when he does that. It was good though. The kids were good and had fun with their lesson. I asked them questions about the 3 men who were put in the fire because they did not bow down to the kings statue and if what what I said was true then that team got to toss a bean in a bucket and if it was false then that team got to throw a bean in a bucket. They made a big mess with the beans but were so good with helping clean them up. Their knowledge blows me away. They knew little details that sometimes I forget. They sure are some amazing kids.
After church we had a cheap quick lunch at Wendy's and went home. We farted around for a bit and Jeremy did his school work. After that was done they played some Wii and I made dinner. While we ate dinner we watched a movie. I don't remember the name of it but it was cute. Then we watched Secret Millionaire and Undercover Boss. Brooke ended the night mad cause we never played any games but I thought it was a good weekend. Here is to hoping that Monday is a success!

Getting back into blogging..... maybe?!
Well today is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. At our church we are starting on Sunday a program called Focus 40 that our district for Church of God is encouraging all churches to participate in. I love this idea but the problem is, so did God. As soon as I heard about this I was instantly pulled in my heart to give up FaceBook. Now mind you , to some no big deal! Not me!! I LOVE FB and am on it almost ALL day, NO JOKE! It literally consumes my life at times.
I don't know why I am so worried about everyone elses life but I am. I want to know what is going on with everyone! Sometimes I think it goes back to when I was in school and didn't really have any close friends. I mean I had friends but no one that was like my BFFL! So part of me feels good inside knowing what everyone is doing because I feel involved. I feel so dumb talking about this because I feel like I am in junior high again.
Its one of those things that I know what I have to do, just not sure how to start. So that is where Focus 40 comes in. I am so excited for this time in my life, to forget the things that do not matter in life and just be in Gods presence. I really don't know what that is like and I want it so desperately. In my bible study we are just read a book called Forgotten God and the last chapter spoke about the fruits of the spirit. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Francis Chan then went on to say, "I don't want to merely talk anymore. Life is too short. I don't want to speak about Jesus; I want to know Jesus. I want to be Jesus to people. I don't want to just write about the Holy Spirit; I want to experience His presence in my life in a profound way!" And that sums up what I want. I want to know him so well its like we live in the same in house in the same room. I want to have the fruits that I have never had before. I want HIM, all of Him and more of Him! I want to be the person walking down the street that when someone passes by they know...... wow, there is something about that girl!
So, since I am not facebooking for 40 days, I am going to be blogging. For now though it is time for bed.... I will share more tomorrow.
